The Arizona Burn Center at Maricopa Integrated Health Systems was pleased to hold the 14th Annual Arizona Burn Center Symposium, a one-day course designed to present a review of current knowledge, research, and innovations in burn care. This year’s symposium focused on Disaster Management of Burns & Trauma. The session included a series of presentations by invited nationally recognized faculty and members of the Arizona Burn Center.
The event was held Friday, October 12, 2018, from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Hilton Phoenix East. Approximately 600 physicians, nurses, EMT’s, physical therapists, respiratory therapists and allied health professionals were in attendance. This year’s event, with record-breaking attendance and 40 vendors and exhibitors, was by far the largest.
Planning has already begun for the 2019 Program scheduled for October 18th at the same Hilton venue.
The Caruso Society was proud to support the Arizona Burn Center through the Burn Symposium, in recognition of all the education and training it provides for the MIHS residency program.
